About the event
This unique ride is the only one that takes you through an authentic covered bridge on a backcountry road—no other buggy ride offers this experience. Many covered bridges in the area have been built recently as attractions or have fallen into disrepair.
When the roadside stand is open, our driver will make a stop for you to purchase some delicious Amish baked goods. The Amish children working at the stand will let you know what has been freshly baked and will bring your selections to you in the buggy.
This ride is a favorite among visitors who want to see the best of what Lancaster County has to offer. Guests enjoy the sound of the horses’ hooves on the wooden bridge and appreciate the opportunity to ask the driver questions about Amish life and culture.
